Bio
Ipswich-raised and London-based, Joe G is an independent singer-songwriter with an eclectic sound rooted in indie, rock, and pop. His live performance has earned high praise from Ed Sheeran, who described Joe’s songwriting as “great,” his voice as “great,” and his sound as “wicked.” It’s a reputation built on the road; since 2017, Joe has performed over 450 shows across the UK and Europe, including two years in the Austrian music scene and a national UK tour supporting mentor Luke Concannon (Nizlopi). Joe has performed regularly in London so far this year, at venues such as The Finsbury and The Water Rats. A multi-instrumentalist, Joe recorded every instrument on his “Escape” album trilogy – Landscape, Cityscape, and Spacescape. Now, he is moving into a new chapter in the studio, collaborating with Ben Brown (Waaju) on drums and Flo Moore (Jordan Rakei) on bass. A favourite of BBC Introducing, Joe’s music matches the directness of his songwriting with the energy of a decade’s worth of honing his live performance.

Joe is currently booking shows in London – so far in 2026 has performed originals shows once p/month in the city – and is paying the bills & honing his skills by performing ~twice p/week in the covers band LA Mixtrax as well as solo in Austria and Germany ~30 times p/year.
Studio:
Joe released his 3rd independent album, Spacescape in November 2025 and is currently recording songs for future single and EP releases to follow it up with.
