Joe is a solo rock artist – singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer – whose songs are inspired by themes of friendship, love and politics. Following the completion of his history degree in London he recorded and released his first album ‘Landscape’ in September 2018 for free download via his website and on Youtube and Soundcloud. Songs from the album were aired on BBC Introducing in Suffolk and in 2019 Joe played 113 gigs, solo as well as with a full band, including festivals such as FolkEast, Ipswich Music Day and in the Hoax/Ed Sheeran shop in Ipswich in August 2019. During the covid-19 ‘lockdown’ months Joe performed via live stream on his social media pages and helped raise money for charities such as Autism & ADHD by performing as part of their online music festival. Joe has performed live and been interviewed on BBC Radio Suffolk on Jon Wright and Stephen Foster’s programmes. Joe released his second album, ‘Cityscape’, in December 2020 following the release of 3 music videos that supported the album’s single releases. Joe’s YouTube videos have over 15,000 views and in 2021 he plans to re-release his first album, Landscape, remixed and remastered with updated drum and vocal recordings.
