About

“A really great song, great voice and it sounds wicked, it sounds really wicked.” – Ed Sheeran (2022)

“One to watch every year, he’s just an incredibly talented musician. I’m really excited for his future. I cannot wait to see him live again… a brilliant performer.” – Angelle Joseph (BBC Introducing in Suffolk)

Joe G is a singer/songwriter from Suffolk, UK, with an eclectic range of influences across folk, punk, blues and metal. His journey began around the time he performed Green Day’s ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ at a concert to mark the end of primary school. He started writing songs aged 11 developed his style while playing in different rock bands throughout his teenage years.

In 2014, Joe moved to London, where he grappled with loss, grief and bad habits as well as an abundance of affirming experiences that influenced the writing of his first two 10-track projects, ‘Landscape’ and ‘Cityscape’. Since 2018, both albums have been released on all major platforms and Joe has attracted praise from the likes of Ed Sheeran who, after seeing a live performance, said that his upcoming single ‘Worth The Pain?’ was a “great song” and that Joe had a “wicked” sound.

Joe has honed his live performance playing gigs in the UK, Austria, the Netherlands and in 2022 toured the UK with Nizlopi frontman Luke Concannon. Each of Joe’s live performances captivates new supporters and he is relentless in his vision to create and perform music that inspires and empowers people.

He is currently working on production for his third album and plans to spend 2023 touring extensively in the UK and Europe.
