Hailing from Suffolk and now based in London, Joe G is an independent singer/songwriter whose eclectic sound blends folk, punk, blues, and metal. With a rich musical background, Joe has been mentored by industry heavyweights like Bellowhead, Imogen Heap, and Dele Sosimi.
Inspired during his history studies in London from 2014 to 2017, Joe crafted his first two projects, ‘Landscape’ and ‘Cityscape.’ Released on all major platforms, these albums have showcased his lyrical depth and musical diversity. In 2022, Joe caught the attention of Ed Sheeran, who praised a live performance of his new single, “Worth The Pain?”, calling it a “great song” and highlighting Joe’s “wicked” sound.
From 2019 onward, Joe has been perfecting his live performance, playing gigs across the UK, Austria, and the Netherlands. In 2022, he toured the UK with his mentor and chart-topping artist Luke Concannon, gaining invaluable experience and exposure.
Joe spent two years living in Graz, Austria, where he performed at the Austrian Music Festival alongside acts like Clock Clock, Rian, and Flo Gruber. Since moving back to the UK in 2023, he has been performed 45+ gigs in Austria, where he shared a dynamic set of originals from his trilogy of albums, future singles, and crowd-pleasing covers that invite audience participation.
2025 so far has seen Joe release singles “Worth The Pain?” and “Love Kid” from his third album ‘Spacescape’ coming 7th November. With performances in the UK and Europe planned for this year, Joe G is set to capture hearts and minds with his dynamic sound and unforgettable live shows.
